Slinking around in the shadows at three in the morning with a bucket of bright yellow paint wasn't easy. Then again, nothing was really easy for Elle. However, she remained cheery. This was her livelihood. Finding a nice large wall, she set down her paints and carefully opened the bucket, her dark red eyes gleaming with excitement. Yellow, the color of freedom.

Dipping the paintbrush into the bucket, she began her work. Each brushstroke screamed a message she knew had to be heard eventually. Soon, it was finished. Liberté, the French word for freedom, now stood proud on the wall. Smiling, Elle picked up her paints and walked off, only to bump into someone. She knew exactly who, and gave them a smile.

"Bonjour, Link~ You're here early, now aren't you? How'd you know I'd be here?" She giggled.

"Just come on." Link said bluntly. Elle hid her paints in the usual spot and walked after Link, a large smile on her face despite knowing what was to come. It was surprising how many scars the human body could have. Of course, she flaunted them, always wearing a blouse wherever she went. Those scars plus the eternal happiness she held confused many to no end, which Elle took pride in.

"He's going to kill you sooner or later." Link said as the two walked.

"The day I snap is the day I die, mon ami." Elle smiled, a small skip in her step.

    "Reckless."

    "I know~"
